Myth: Inground pools are unaffordable luxuries.

The cost of an inground pool can vary greatly depending on a variety of factors, including size, shape, and optional features. For example, we recommend installing an in-floor cleaning system—also known as a self-cleaning pool—which will filter the water more effectively, circulate chemicals and heat better, and reduce the costs associated with both. Myth: Having a pool is only worthwhile if you live in a warm climate.

The two most common pool heating options are heat pumps, which can help keep your pool at a constant desired temperature and work well as long as outside temperatures are above 45-50 degrees Fahrenheit, and gas heaters, which we recommend if you have an attached spa, as they can quickly heat the water in both the pool and the spa to facilitate on-demand use of both.
