- Ron Giannamore
Owner / President Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. – Pool Designer
- In 1970 Ron purchased a pool from Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. After recognizing the quality and satisfaction that an Aqua pool brings, Ron became a pool designer in 1972. Two years later in 1974, he became a partner and by 1977 he was a full partner. No later than 1980 Ron took over 100%.
Ron has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Villanova University and a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Connecticut. His career also consists of being a Quality Control Engineer with the Defense Contract Administration Service (DECAS). He taught Engineering at Villanova University and worked as an engineer for seven years at Hamilton Standard. He has thirteen patents in electronics. Ron has designed hundreds of breath-taking pools throughout Southern New England. Ron is Association of Pool & Spa Professionals (APSP) trained and is a founding member of WET Institute.

Michael has been with Aqua Pool & Patio since 1983. He has experience in every aspect of the pool industry, from design to construction to service. His skills were honed both on the job sites and through numerous APSP Certifications. His vast experience encompasses both residential and commercial pools.
Michael’s formal education includes both a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Vermont in Philosophy and a Master’s Degree from St. Joseph’s College in Elementary Education. He also has an SP-1 Plumbing and Piping Limited Contractor’s license issued by the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection.
- Debbie (Giannamore) Madden
Vice President Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. - Pool Designer
- Debbie has been in the family pool business since 1979. Her knowledge of design and pool construction is extensive. She has a strong background in business administration, sales and marketing, combining her business acumen with her educational background, which includes a Bachelors’ Degree from American University in Washington D.C.
- Gregg Pruitt
Vice President Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. – Construction Department
- Gregg has been with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. since 1980. Today, along with Michael Giannamore, he runs day-to-day operations and is responsible for the construction of our pools. Gregg has been involved in all aspects of pool construction, starting as part of the Gunite Crew. He has honed his numerous skills in both Construction and Management through on the job training and numerous APSP classes and seminars.
In 1987 he was promoted to Construction Foreman and in 1998 was promoted to Vice President of Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. He is an expert in residential and commercial pool construction. Gregg and his assistant, along with a top-notch team of Excavators, Masons, Plumbers and Construction Laborers have been with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. for many years. Our Construction team is the best in the industry and enables our customers to realize the outdoor living room of their dreams.
- Mike Grabon
Controller/Accountant
Mike has been a member of the Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. staff since 1994, but has had a working relationship as the company accountant since 1977.
His professional degrees include a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Science in Professional Accounting, Master of Science and Taxation and Master of Business Administration. He received his CPA Certification in the State of Connecticut in 1976.
- Jason Guilmette
Pool Designer
- Jason has been with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. since 2004. He has immersed himself in becoming an expert in all aspects of pool design and is continually one of our top pool designers. He has known the Giannamore family since 1980. Aqua Pool has built and continues to service pools for 2 of Jason’s family members. Jason is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire with a Degree in Business and has over 17 years of Sales and Customer Service experience. Jason has attended APSP seminars and training.
- Bill Ferrara
Pool Designer
- Bill joined Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. in 2006. After many years with AT&T (formerly SBC/SNET) as a sales engineer in the area of high-speed data networking design, he joined our team after a brief "retirement". Being a pool owner himself, and having many years in sales and engineering, Bill brings a great deal of experience and technical design information to Aqua Pool & Patio and our clients.
- Debbie Callender
Service Manager
- Debbie has been with Aqua Pool & Patio Service Corporation since 1997. Her primary responsibilities lie in managing our retail store and assisting our customers over the telephone and in person about proper pool chemistry. She is also an integral member of our service office staff.
Debbie is the coordinator of weekly and yearly maintenance agreements as well as managing the technicians that perform weekly maintenance. Her expertise in the industry as well as her superior customer service skills are a benefit to Aqua and the customers we serve. Debbie is our resident chemical specialist and is APSP trained with Tech I Certification.
- Dennis Sullivan
Construction Foreman
- Dennis began his work with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. in 1980. He and his family moved to upstate New York, where he owned his own business building custom homes and pools. The family moved back to CT in 2002 as Dennis continued his work in the construction field. In the spring of 2003 he joined the Pike Company and became an onsite superintendent for retail construction, overseeing jobs from start to finish. In 2005 he rejoined the Aqua Pool team and is one of our managers in charge of pre-construction meetings. His work includes construction management as well as "hands on" with the construction crews.
- Jessica Monteleone
Construction Manager
- Jessica has been with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. since 2002. Jessica is the Assistant to the Construction Vice President. In her position as Construction Manager she is responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of the Construction Department. Her duties include scheduling the construction work each step of the way from Dig to Plaster. Jessica works with our customers via phone and email to answer and meet any construction questions and needs. She works closely with Construction personnel to ensure timely and accurate results.
Jessica brings to Aqua Pool several years of office administration and project management skills. Jessica works to maintain a positive transition from Construction through Service. She has attended APSP seminars and training.
- Chuck Santanella
Assistant Service Manager
- Chuck has been in the pool and spa industry in both retail and administrative positions since 1998. In 2003 Chuck joined Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. as the Assistant Store Manager in our retail store. In 2005 he was promoted to Assistant Service Manager. Chuck assists Denise and Debbie with all aspects of the Service Department.
Chuck brings to Aqua several years experience with a national pool supply chain. Chuck’s knowledge goes far beyond the retail area and his keen computer and customer service skills make him an asset to our Service Department. He has attended APSP seminars and training.
- Harry “Lew” Lewis
Warehouse Manager
- Lew has been with us since 1999. Lew’s primary responsibilities include warehouse / parts management, inventory control, and purchasing. He has over 30 years of management and customer service skills and joined us after 27 years of employment with a Fortune 500 company.
- Leslie Colburn
Draftsman
- Leslie has been with us since 2002 and is certified in Drafting from Porter and Chester Institute. He works with both the Pool Designer and our customer to create a blueprint to the specifications desired. Prior to joining us Leslie worked in Electrical CAD Design.
- Patricia Shewokis
Office Manager / Bookkeeper
- Pat started with Aqua Pool & Patio, Inc. in 1981 and continues to be a valued employee. She assists the Controller on a daily basis and processes payroll. Pat has over 30 years of bookkeeping and administrative experience. She is familiar with all aspects of the business.
- Tom Sheehan
Fleet Manager
- Tom joined Aqua Pool & Patio Inc. in 2001. He is responsible for the maintenance of all company vehicles and equipment. Tom has three ASE Certifications and graduated from Wyoming Technical Institute with Certification in Auto Mechanics. He brings over 20 years of experience in his field to Aqua.

- Danny Norris - Excavator
Danny has been part of our team since 1983. He is our Excavator and has primary responsibility for the layout and digging of the pools. Danny has over 30 years of experience in the construction industry. Danny has attended numerous APSP classes and seminars.
Gary Hill - Plumber
Gary joined us in 1979. With his assistant he has plumbed over 1,500 pools for Aqua. He has over 30 years plumbing and construction experience. He is well versed and trained on all of the latest plumbing equipment and parts.
Jose Lopez – Mason
Jose has been with Aqua Pool since 1989. He is an artisan in the field of masonry and has over 20 years of experience in this field. Jose is a perfectionist and the pride he takes in his work is obvious; this is represented in the beautiful work he does for us.

Dave joined the Aqua team in 1990. He is APSP trained and holds a State of Connecticut SP-2 license.
- Tony Perla - Senior Service Technician
Tony joined the Aqua team in 2000. He is APSP trained and holds a State of Connecticut SP-2 license.
Dave Schillinger - Senior Service Technician
Dave joined the Aqua team in 1996. He is APSP trained and has reached Level of Tech II. Dave holds a State of Connecticut SP-2 license.
Rick Mahaffey - Senior Service Technician
Rick joined the Aqua team in 2001. He is APSP trained and has reached Level of Tech II.
Kris Monighetti - Senior Service Technician
Kris joined the Aqua team in 1998. He is APSP trained and has reached Level of Tech II.
